the design and
construction of
one-of-a-kind homes.

Projects, to date, have
been predominantly in the
metro Atlanta, GA area.

We are particularly partial to
"difficult" or unusual sites,
as they often provide
opportunities for design that
are overlooked or not
present in more traditional
sites.  That said, we also
work with traditional sites,
although the preference is to
design and build in areas
that will tolerate maximum
architectural lattitude.

Influenced by site and creative
possibilities,  Buildynamic seeks
to approach the home as a
compelling composition of light,
color, texture, form and function.
One of the core principles of
design for Buildynamic is
environmental consciousness.  We
attempt to minimize disruptions to
the natural state of the site to the
maximum extent possible. Where
practical, the major trees and
topography are left in an
undisturbed state.

Energy / conservation
considerations factor into the
design of each home as site and
artistic considerations permit.

Solar orientation, use of
vegetation, allowances for proper
ventilation, and a high degree of
insulation are combined to optimize
energy efficiency, while keeping
the overall context of the artistic
concept.   
Many have said that spaces / designs created by Buildynamic must
be experienced to be fully appreciated. Photos are a minimalist
translation.
